Below are the steps on how to use the MyUNISA library in South Africa:
- Go to the Unisa Library website: https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/corporate/default/Library.
- Sign in using your student number and myUnisa password.
- Click on the “My Library” tab.
To search for books:
- Enter your search terms in the search bar.
- You can narrow down your search by selecting a subject area or by using other filters.
- Click on the “Search” button.
To borrow a book:
- Find the book you want to borrow and click on the “Borrow” button.
- You will need to select a pickup location and a pickup date.
- Click on the “Borrow” button again to confirm your request.
To renew a book:
- Find the book you want to renew and click on the “Renew” button.
- You can renew a book up to 3 times.
- Click on the “Renew” button again to confirm your request.
To access e-resources:
- Click on the “Find e-resources” link.
- This will take you to a list of all the electronic resources that the Unisa Library subscribes to.
- You can search for a specific resource by title, subject, or publisher.
