2. Mandela 90th Birthday Coin – 2008

The 90th birthday celebration of the first South African Liberation legend and the first Black President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela was honored with these coins. 3. Mandela’s 100th Anniversary coin

100th birthday of the Ex-president Nelson Mandela was honored with an R5 coin in 2018. The coins that were R5 denomination were meant to be used as regular money.
