How to Get to MUT

MUT is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus, and train. Here are directions from different locations:

From King Shaka International Airport

  1. Take the N2 Outer Ring Road (partial toll road).
  2. Exit at 152 toward Durban/R102/South Coast/M30/Umlazi.
  3. Turn right at the robot onto South Coast Road/M30.
  4. Exit left into Umlazi/Mangosuthu Highway.
  5. Continue straight, passing five sets of robots; MUT Main Campus is on your right.

From Durban City Centre

  1. Take the M4 Southern Freeway.
  2. Exit towards Umlazi/Isipingo.
