PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions (FMS) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) are part of the same package, commonly known as Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I change my UFS password?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>UFS students must change their passwords every 90 days. You will receive an email notification informing you that your password is about to expire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also choose to change your password regularly for security reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will use your password to access your email, logon to the internet on campus and even your registration on PeopleSoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you change your password let\u2019s look at Ufs password policy in the image below. This will guide you in changing your password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to change ufs password<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To change your password;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Navigate to the self service website on your web browser,<\/li><li>Login by typing in your UFS student number and your current password,<\/li><li>Click on the first option (Change Password\u2026<em>Change your current password<\/em>),<\/li><li>Type in a new password in the New Password and Confirm Password Text boxes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u201c<strong>Change Password<\/strong>\u201c. Note that previously used passwords are not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the sensitive nature of your data, the password requires some complexity. Consult the password policy above for password requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a password is entered that does not meet the requirements, the system will inform you with the following dialog:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see the following screen whilst your password is being changed. Just be patient for it to load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your password does meet the requirements, you will receive the following dialog, informing you that you have successfully changed your password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your password has been changed successfully. See how easy it is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forgotten password?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have forgotten your password, click on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/selfservice.ufs.ac.za\/sspr\/public\/forgottenpassword\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Forgotten Password<\/a>\u201d and follow the prompts to reset your password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to reset your password the University of the Free State (UFS) will send an SMS message to the mobile number, or an email to your personal email address, available for your account on the UFS system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This system will provide you with a security code required to reset your password.
