We strive for excellence in teaching and learning, community projects and research. A number of programmes are offered on undergraduate, post basic and postgraduate levels in Nursing with speciality in oncology, occupational health and nursing science.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u200bOur school is dedicated to contributing to the optimum health of South Africans through quality in teaching, learning, research, practice and management, that is locally motivated, countrywide relevant and globally competitive. Admission requirement(s) and selection criteria: \u2022<\/p>\n<p><strong> FOR APPLICANTS WHO OBTAINED A SENIOR CERTIFICATE BEFORE 2008:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Admission requirement(s):<\/strong> A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification with a pass on Higher Grade in English and Biology or Physical Science.<\/p>\n<p>Alternative and international qualifications will be assessed on the equivalent issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) with their application forms for admission.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the minimum requirements for registration at the South African Nursing Council as a learner nurse is an A-level or a Senior Certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection criteria:<\/strong> Selection is done in accordance with the South African Nursing Council. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for admission to the qualification or to the foundation programme and will be invited for an interview with the departmental selection panel.
