These stages are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Download R&amp;R Tool and Learner Data file<\/li><li>Generate\/Load R&amp;R Tool<\/li><li>Importing assessments marks<\/li><li>Exporting data file from R&amp;R Tool<\/li><li>Upload data file via CEMIS<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>The high-level process is illustrated in the figure below. The summarised steps follows:<ul><li>Print the instructions if required<\/li><li>Create a folder to store the Excel Spreadsheet (R&amp;R Tool)<\/li><li>Download the Excel Spreadsheet (R&amp;R Tool)<\/li><li>Download the learner data file<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_01\/pic08.png\" alt=\"pic08\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ensure that the R&amp;R Tool downloaded and data file downloaded are saved in the same folder created in the steps above.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_01\/pic09.png\" alt=\"pic09\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log out of CEMIS<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 2: Activate R&amp;R Tool and Load Learner Data<\/h1>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This section describes how to activate the R&amp;R Tool and load the learner data file obtained from CEMIS into the R&amp;R Tool.<ul><li>Double-click on the Excel file to open the R&amp;R Tool (named \u201cGRD_3.xls\u201d or similar).<\/li><li>The R&amp;R Tool will open and display the following screen<\/li><li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cStart Loading data from CEMIS\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button to load the learner data file. Note that this may take while.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_02\/pic01.png\" alt=\"pic01\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The following message will be displayed on successful completion of the learner file load.<\/li><li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cOK\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_02\/pic02.png\" alt=\"pic02\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Inspect the subject sheets. Learner details will be displayed for each subject. Note that there will not be any marks at this stage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_02\/pic03.PNG\" alt=\"pic03\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 3: Import Assessment Data<\/h1>\n\n\n<p>This section describes how to import data from an R&amp;R Tool (Excel Spreadsheet) that contains previously captured data.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>[Describe multiple imports \u2013 different class files to be combined in a grade file]<\/p>\n\n\n<p>[Include addendum for importing errors \u2013 \u201cgo to\u201d section]<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisite:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Ensure that the R&amp;R Tool containing the data is in the same folder as the newly activated R&amp;R Tool<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the newly activated R&amp;R Tool and navigate to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cPersonal Info\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;worksheet<\/li><li>On the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cPersonal Info\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>worksheet, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cImport marks\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic01.png\" alt=\"pic01\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Navigate to where the R&amp;R Tool that contains the data have been saved is (here called the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cGRD_3_PREVIOUSLY CAPTURED DATA\u201d<\/strong>).<\/li><li>Select the file and click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cOpen\u201d<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic02.png\" alt=\"pic02\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Do not describe errors in the narrative. Rather in the appendix section]<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If there are&nbsp;<strong>discrepancies between the weighting<\/strong>&nbsp;of the selected file and the R&amp;R Tool to which the data is being imported to, a warning screen will pop up. Select the applicable action.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic03.png\" alt=\"pic03\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If there are further&nbsp;<strong>discrepancies between weighting<\/strong>&nbsp;found the following warning screen will pop up. Select the appropriate action.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic04.png\" alt=\"pic04\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>NOTE:<\/strong>&nbsp;The program also checks for other discrepancies. In all instances a warning message will pop up. Choose the appropriate action (as per above examples).<\/li><li>Once all the marks have been imported the program will display an&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAll marks imported\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;message box.<\/li><li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cOK\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic05.png\" alt=\"pic05\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The newly activated R&amp;R Tool will import the data from the selected file.<\/li><li>A message box will be displayed to inform the user that the marks have been imported.<\/li><li>Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cOK\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button to close the message box<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic05.png\" alt=\"pic05\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Inspect the subject sheets. The data should now show in the R&amp;R Tool into which the data have been imported.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/schoolsit.wcgschools.gov.za\/images\/Learner_Performance_Data_Process\/Stage_03\/pic07.png\" alt=\"pic07\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The R&amp;R Tool may now be saved.
