Further studying is always a good option, the problem is, not all matriculants know what to study, and many cannot afford it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some young adults are still figuring out a career path to take, or would like to further their studies, or are looking for opportunities in a new and exciting field, but are not sure how to go about this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city of Johannesburg EMS is hoping to help with these predicaments by providing 20 bursaries to graduates and young adults are looking to pursue a career in Emergency Management Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uni1.co.za\/articles\/articles\/?s=bursaries\">bursaries<\/a>\u00a0will be available to successful candidates between the ages of 17 and 25 years old who reside permanently within the City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full-time undergraduate studies that are offered cover two EMS fields, with three qualification choices, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A Diploma in Fire Technologies at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uni1.co.za\/articles\/articles\/tshwane-university-of-technologytut\/\">Tshwane University of Technology<\/a>\u00a0(three years)<\/li><li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Emergency Medical Care at the University of Johannesburg (four years)<\/li><li>A National Diploma in Emergency Medical Care at the University of Johannesburg (four years).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The bursaries for these courses will cover the tuition and registration fees, as well as the prescribed books and study material.
