It covers 21000 square kilometres or 18% of the province. The Central Office of Vhembe TVET College is situated in Sibasa about 2km from Makwarela Campus, 52km from Mavhoi, 72km from Mashamba and 31km from Tshisimani campus. The college has a satellite campus at Thengwe that specialises with learnerships and short skills and a hospitality campus at Makhado.\u00a0Vhembe TVET College fosters and maintains excellence in the teaching, learning, management and governance.<\/p>\n<p>Vhembe TVET College is one of the fifty public TVET colleges, mandated by government to proactively assist the government in addressing the triple challenges that have the potential of crippling the economy. The triple challenges \u00a0are -: Poverty, Unemployment and inequality. The one at an TVET will be studying exactly what the industry is looking for and the one in conventional schooling will be studying generic curriculum which is not necessarily responsive to the industry. After both of them finishes their studies should a Job opportunity arises, the one who stands a better chance of getting employment, is the one who have studied through an TVET because he\/she would have studied what would be relevant to the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The same happens in a case where they both want to pursue the same course at a university or university of technology.
