These small\u00a0enterprises do not create efficient job opportunities for the community and most of its inhabitants\u00a0must find work in nearby towns.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"campuses_content_cont_wraper\">\n<div class=\"campuses_content_cont_lehurutshe\">\n<div class=\"module\">\n<p>The campus was previously a college of education where technical and business studies educators\u00a0were trained. The campus offers training opportunities to some of the very remote rural areas\u00a0within the<strong>Ngaka Modiri Molema District<\/strong>. The campus has hostel facilities that can accommodate up\u00a0to 380 students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lehurutshe Campus <\/strong>and <strong>The Mafikeng Campus<\/strong> have been offering end-user computing to 400\u00a0learners at NQF Level 3. This is done in partnership with the municipalities, the <strong>ISETT-SETA <\/strong>and<strong>SPL\u00a0Communications.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lichtenburg Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lichtenburg Campus<\/strong> is located 68km from Mahikeng and it is the only campus in the North West\u00a0Province that offers training in primary agriculture. It has also been offering programmes and\u00a0learnerships in agriculture in the surrounding rural areas.Taletso FET College has a student representative council which comprises of four representatives\u00a0from each campus. Every campus has different student activities such as soccer, netball, chess,\u00a0ballroom dancing and athletics.<\/p>\n<p>There are also student resource centres where the students can do\u00a0research, complete assignments and study.Lichtenburg, as a town, has a large potential for growth. There are two large cement factories\u00a0(Lafarge and Holcim). Property development is on the increase.
